I tried to install Office when I got my new laptop 3 months ago, but I finally installed Office because had some installation problems.
Whatever, I uninstall Office and delete everything that was stored from the failed installation and now that I have Office , I still have Office updates coming! Someone know how I can remove Office completely to don't receive useless updates from Microsoft? I look into Regedit, but I don't understand which Office version is Office I have I found this link explaining couple of things, but I don't want to uninstall Office at the same time This thread is locked.

I have a product key for Office Pro Plus, however, I accidentally installed the version. When I realised this, I proceeded to download the version. Only problem is, Office is set as default for opening all office files. I uninstall microsoft office professional 2010 free seem to change this in settings. After doing so, an error came up and the uninstall cancelled.
When trying a second time, the error "the language of this installation package is not supported by your system. I've also tried to use Microsoft's Fix It, which failed as well.
