Microsift is an issue with Microsoft not Anywhere. We do have clients using Anywhere with Windows and as I stated my original install in my second environment works fine and has the correct SDK and Tools. I initially installed VS with no updates and that is where I had an issue installing the update from Microsoft. I can not answer why the update is not working. Unfortunately that is the version of Visual Studio that is vishal. I just spoke with Tenable support and based on my above test, they are not considering this as a false-positive and problem with plugin. I've got the same problem with plugin , although mine is for the VS I agree that the detection logic on this plugin should be updated. I've installed VS10SP1-KBx86 which detected the VS10 Shell as an updatable component, but there is no minor version listed before or after the update so Nessus still flags it as a vulnerability.

Startup does tend to be expensive though I've never experienced what you describe and I routinely start up 3, 4 instances after a reboot right away — BradleyDotNET.
